Zero waste map
With our zero waste map we are bridging the gap between an existing zero waste infrastructure in European cities and those who choose to take action.
How it works:
+ find the nearest zero waste spot (shops, community gardens, cafés, hotels and more!)
+ learn about their story, opening hours, contact info & what they offer packaging-free
+ easily contact them or get directions
+ add new stores with zero waste potential to the map & we’ll review it!

We intend to support more cities by making an existing zero waste infrastructure visible to their citizens. Our maps have the potential of reducing plastic packaging by 80 %, we map on average 17 % of local stores that are sustainable and we promote vivid city centers while reducing e-waste.
Corporates can benefit through our maps by being visible for a new target market (61 % of all millenials) and increase sales within a circular economy. Furthermore, we support businesses with zero waste audits that help them get closer to their carbon neutrality ambitions.
Our Impact
Are you curious about our impact in numbers ? Climate Impact Forecast calculated that wegozero has reached over 7000 millenials in in 2021 alone, of whom 61% are expected to change on average 10 % of their current behaviour. That is equivalent to 427 fully changed users.
Imagine we would be able to influence more people.
What if we could reach 50 million millenials across Europe. That is equivalent to 3 million fully changed users. That’s the volume of 101 million elephants of mass. An unstoppable community of zero wasters.
Let’s make change happen together !F.A.Q.

The world we live in already offers an existent Zero Waste network. And we want to make it visible. We want to create an app that makes it easy for people to go zero waste in Europe. Thus spreading awareness and supporting local businesses as we create partnerships within the circular economy.
We identify shops that align with a Zero Waste lifestyle. The selected shops already allow for easy changes to a Zero Waste lifestyle, yet the awareness is missing. We are bridging the gap between the already existent Zero Waste infrastructure and those willing to take action with our zero waste map. Highlighting these businesses makes going Zero Waste easy and helps local small businesses to thrive.
We first localise businesses that align with the values of a Zero Waste lifestyle, making it easy for the consumer to find. And then categorise those businesses with coloured labels according to their current status quo (% of Zero Waste potential fulfilled). This makes the current sustainable practice visible.
Cities are responsible for the biggest share of carbon emissions. By engaging urban customers into changes in behaviour and mindset, we have a great chance of achieving significant positive indirect impact.
If we could reach 3 million fully changed users in Euope, this would equal the mass of 101 million elephants mass of Co2.
